What's a Mullet?
Possibly the best of both worlds, our SRAM AXS Mullet builds combine wireless AXS eTap road bike brake/shift levers with clutched mountain derailleurs and wide-range cassettes for a go-anywhere bike with improved chain retention, better mud and tire clearance, less weight and reduced noise when compared to traditional 2x11 or 2x12 drivetrains. And "Wider Gearing"?
Having heard our calls, SRAM has responded with a wide-range version of their 2x12 Force AXS wireless drivetrain. Featuring a massive 516% range and more crank and derailleur clearance for wider tires, Force Wide is perfect for the rider who spends time both on and off pavement. Learn more here.
The Smoothest Ride,
On Road and Off
Built to efficiently and comfortably handle long days in the saddle, the Atalaya doesn't confuse flex with compliance, drawing on its designer's long experience with titanium to masterfully combine comfort with responsiveness. Its elegant, clean lines are accentuated and strengthened by the addition of complex cast titanium elements, centered around a single-piece bottom bracket & chainstay system. The custom head tube cleanly integrates cable routing for both mechanical and electronic drivetrains.
J.Guillem signature cast titanium dropouts are compatible with flat-mount disc brakes and 12x142mm thru axles. Full rack and fender mounts and clearance for up to 700c x 44mm or 27.5 x 2.1in tires make for a versatile platform that that doesn’t look out of place however you use it. And, like all J.Guillem frames, the Atalaya is backed by a 100-Year Warranty.
The Atalaya is a bicycle that doesn't just enable big rides: it inspires them.

FAQs
Do you offer custom builds on your frames?
Absolutely! Our stock builds are just where we feel like we can offer the best balance of price and performance. But we all have our fit, color, or brand preferences and we love tailoring bicycles to their new owners' needs. Contact us to learn more.
How do I buy one?
Well, you’re in the right place! We primarily sell J.Guillem frames direct to consumers. Part of that’s our location: not everyone is able to travel to New Mexico. We also know that not every shop can be expected to carry smaller brands- if you want something unique and special chances are it won’t be in stock around the corner.
We do love bike shops, though! If you are a bike shop or have one you’d like to work with on your build, please contact us and we’ll work hard to make it happen.
My size or option is out of stock!
Don't sweat! Drop us a line and we'll get what you're looking for or find an appropriate substitution. With the exception of wheels, most things are one to three days away.
How are bikes built and shipped?
We work with a local pro shop on all of our complete bike builds. They have loads of experience with frame-up builds and see even the rarest drivetrains and most niche parts on a regular basis. This way you can be confident that your bicycle will be built by a professional mechanic and test ridden before being packed and shipped via FedEx.
How long will it take?
Because each build is tailored to you, in-stock sizes and options take two to four business days to build. As soon as your order is placed we'll reach out with a ship date.
Do you have a warranty?
A J.Guillem frame is built to provide performance that lasts and is backed by a 100-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
