Torque Cap Fork Reducer
As easy as it should be
As much as we like our RockShox suspension forks, every time we use a fork-mount rack or reinstall a wheel we question their decision to create the oversized Torque Cap hub-to-fork interface. Not that stiffer isn't better (when used with their hubs, of course)- it just makes alining a standard Boost hub more trouble than it ought to be.
Well, designers after our own hearts, Germany's Newmen Components must have had the same reaction- and they've done something about it. These little adhesive-backed metal crecents adhere to your (well-cleaned) RockShox dropouts to make mounting a front wheel or attaching the bike to a roof rack faster and easier.
Aah. That's better.
